Lydia Roy is an executive coach, business consultant, and facilitator with over 20 years of integrated leadership, businessperformance coaching, mentoring, career development, and assessment experience in both corporate andentrepreneurial settings.

Lydia has cross-industry experience, and has worked with CEOs and Executives in a broad range of industries including major financial institutions and health care organizations. Her clients are successful executives (CEOs, VPs, Directors

and business owners) whose leadership and people-skills may be holding them back from realizing their true goals and maximizing their professional success.

She is also an entrepreneur who specializes in business development and supports small business owners to grow their businesses successfully.

Typical client scenarios where Lydia’s coaching has been most effective include: successful leaders who want to take their leadership to the next level; financial leaders who want to brand their business and attract their ideal clients; leaders who want to inspire and grow their executive teams; leaders who have significant performance goals and want to jump start their team to achieve them; professionals who are going through career transition and are needing support in bridging to the next level; and leaders and managers who are looking for a coach approach as part of their leadership strategy.

As a former Vice President of Human Resources, Lydia has led human resources activities for major organizations. Her focus was to serve the multifaceted needs within the organization by creating and implementing strategic plans that supported the overall organizational goals, as they related to maximizing human capital. Lydia has also delivered programs leading to certification of new coaches for Adler International Learning.

Recent clients include The Government of Ontario, The Government of Alberta, The City of Ottawa, The City of Brampton, Compass Group, Queen’s University, Rotman University of Toronto, The Niagara Institute, St. Michael’s Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital, Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, Halton Health Care, Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, and Hamilton Health Sciences.

Lydia holds a Bachelor of Education degree and an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario. She is certified by Adler International Learning, having graduated from their Professional Coaching Certification Program and currently holds the highest designation through the International Coach Federation as Master Certified Coach.

She has completed additional professional development training in a variety of tools, including Leading Managers 360, Workplace Big 5, Myers Briggs, EQ-Emotional Quotient, FIRO Business, DiSC,

VIA Survey, Predictive Index, and is a Situational Leadership Master Facilitator. Lydia is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Toronto Board of Trade and is a sought after international speaker and facilitator working with organizations in Canada, the United States, Europe, Turkey, India and China.
